LIFULL Connect offers solutions for B2B and B2C customers in real estate markets around the world. Employees are based in 10 Latin America, Europe, and Southeast Asia countries. In addition to the permanent staff, LIFULL Connect has temporary employees.

The LIFULL Connect solutions are available for real estate companies in the Americas, Europe and Asia. The platform enables real estate companies to get broad visibility on the internet. LIFULL Connect customises the platform for different regions and countries to serve local markets and customers based on their specific needs. In addition, the platform makes it easy for real estate buyers to do a worldwide search across internet sources by aggregating results in one place.

The company is growing fast, mainly through acquisitions. As a result, the number of employees has doubled during the last couple of years. Most LIFULL Connect employees focus on software development, product management and digital marketing. In addition, there are regional sales teams, mainly in Latin America and South East Asia.

Their need for a global, centralised learning solution

LIFULL Connect needs to create a global learning strategy and provide a centralised training solution across different regions. “We have the challenge of aligning our learning culture across all our regional companies. In addition, because we are growing through acquisitions, each company we acquire brings their own culture.

“We ensured all parts of the business had their learning budgets and resources aligned. The companies we acquired used different languages, so the first step is ensuring everyone has adequate English language skills. We did a global assessment and established targets for English language learning. All employees need B1-level English skills, which is also part of the recruitment criteria.

Focus on increasing employee engagement over time

As a fast-paced technology company, LIFULL Connect has a high employee turnover, so they focus on increasing employee engagement over time.

LIFULL Connect has implemented a centralised solution, Connect Academy, which has been rolled out gradually during the past couple of years. To engage learners, the company focuses on the learner experience, and the solution is based on needs analysis and ongoing use of learner analytics. In addition, every employee can get a personalised development plan.

OpenSesame offers an enormous range of content in multiple languages and formats. LIFULL Connect has launched compliance courses focusing on cyber security and GDPR in English and Spanish. They have built a leadership programme based on a hybrid model combining virtual resources from OpenSesame, virtual workshops and individual coaching sessions.

The ongoing analysis provides details on specific needs, such as mental wellness. Our company has a culture of constant change, so emotional well-being is a priority for us. Engagement is increasing

LIFULL Connect has established goals and metrics to monitor defined KPIs over time. The first year has seen significant improvement in all global metrics for the leadership programme: recognition, ambassadorship, satisfaction and relationship with the manager.

Since the learning solution launch, the number of users has been increasing steadily, and the content usage per user has doubled. This data indicates that the users are engaged. In addition, all the specific metrics LIFULL Connect uses to measure the training results show a steady improvement.

The LIFULL Connect team is working on connecting learning data to business performance. “We expect to see a positive impact of soft skills training on business performance, as customer satisfaction is likely to increase. In addition, we are switching our LMS to a modern solution, enabling seamless content distribution. We will also get good analytics and reporting capabilities. At the same time, we are looking forward to expanding our use of OpenSesame content over time,” concludes Milian.
